Haiku ~ Snow

I have never seen or felt snow. In real life, that is. Wonder what it would be like, or feel like? Merry Christmas to all !!!


I long to see snow !
pristine white or dirty white?
crunchy or soft?

Crunchy or soft,
unique, each snowflake is
special crystal shape!

Special crystal shape,
drops down in a wave
mind's eye, I watch

Mind's eye, I watch
a bed of cold white, hiding
every footfall, free !

Every footfall free,
will it hide me too?
look behind for me !

Look behind for me,
buried in that frozen floor....
I long to see snow !

    Lovely prema,

    Felt the shiver of cold snow. Nothing remails buried under the snow for long...it takes new form of life when snow melts off...Like our lives too.

    Hi Prema darling.. The world has gone bonkers: it has been snowing where it's never snowed b4 so don't be surprised if some day you wake up to a blanket of snowyflakes on your tummy- err maybe you shouldn't sleep under the stars, LOL..

    Vivid description of a visit in the "mind's eye" "crystal" clear.. pristine & cold... When my morning glory shines on it.. there is a sensational sparkle that lights up the world!!
