Haiku ~ Snow

I have never seen or felt snow. In real life, that is. Wonder what it would be like, or feel like? Merry Christmas to all !!!


I long to see snow !
pristine white or dirty white?
crunchy or soft?

Crunchy or soft,
unique, each snowflake is
special crystal shape!

Special crystal shape,
drops down in a wave
mind's eye, I watch

Mind's eye, I watch
a bed of cold white, hiding
every footfall, free !

Every footfall free,
will it hide me too?
look behind for me !

Look behind for me,
buried in that frozen floor....
I long to see snow !

Haiku ~ Wish

pegged on a kite tail,
I tag my wish, soaring...
hope and freedom, true !

within that kernel
lay hidden a dream,
a world, forever green !

no wish, no horse
no beggar rode, shush...
fantasy just died !


The theme Wish reminded me so much of Anne Lennox and Sweet Dreams .....

Sweet Dreams are made of these,
Who am I to disagree.
I travel the world across the seven seas,
Everybody is looking for something.....

Recipe of Pain ~


Crush in, numbness
Stir fry raw sorrow,
Voila , pain concocted !

Voila, pain concocted,
Hard to digest, heart ache
Crushing numbness !

From the tree of genes,
the past, I seek ..
History, comes alive !

An apple Eve plucked,
birth of sin...
truth, innocence died !

Mighty and strong,
the unbending oak,
weathers all storms !

Cherry trees blossom,
lay down a carpet of blooms,
oh, that tryst with time !

Woods, dark and deep
tight cocoon of trees,
blessed home to the wild !

Meditation,
unravels a sublime void
peace trickles in !

peace fills the void,
a deep silence ensues
blissful joy arises !

joy takes you there,
where heaven beckons
Love, He awaits, silently !


Words create a cacophony,
when stilled,
deathly silence shrieks !


What is death?
if not, silence?
final, restful kindness !


My child suffers,
so stoic and silent.
I tremble, in trepidation !

golden leaves fall,
autumn's own red carpet, while
winter awaits its turn !

love, goodness, kindness
hatred, envy, jealousy
shades of nature !

Rejuvenation, resurgence, renewal
Rebirth.....words galore , mean nothing
What else, but renovation ?


Risen sun, tirelessly
Gives light and life,
Every day, a renovation!

mysteries of nature,
science seeks answers
to unlock wonders!

ceaseless wonder !

every new moment
has something new to unveil,
isn't life a wonder ?
