Haiku....Mirage


Lost in barren wastelands
the glimmer of a river beckons
still ..... deathly hope! T'is only a mirage!


Crushed under the yoke of dictators
countries, peoples ... torn asunder
breaths of freedom, a mirage?

    It was easy to guess the Gadaffi situation. Imagine having been ruled by an insane dictator for 42 years? Poor people!

    These are evocative and beautifully written....the first is a possible grim reality for future generations and the second is applies to so many today.
